A guide to sending your photos

Efficient, simple, and convenient - at BOXT we don’t do surveys. We feel this just prolongs the process and that’s the last thing you need when you’re living without hot water or heating.

Which is why we ask you to send us photos. Once you’ve purchased your new boiler from us you'll receive an order confirmation email. In this email, it tells you all the details of your order and includes the link ‘send us your photos’. Simply click on the link then just follow the steps.

Here’s what we need:

1). Your current boiler (including any pipes top or bottom)

  • Standing about a metre away or so back would be ideal
  • Ensure it isn't too dark - that way the boiler is visible
  • Just check that there is a clear view with nothing in the way - again visibility is key
  • Please include any pipes at top or bottom of the boiler

2). Pipework under boiler

  • As always, stand about a metre away or so from the pipework 
  • Consider lighting, make sure it's not too dark
  • Clear view with nothing in the way

3). The front of your house

  • Make sure the whole house is in view
  • Simply take the photo from the front of the house
  • As always consider visibility and ensure it's not too dark
  • Clear view with nothing in the way

4)Your flue exit

  • Please stand about a metre or so away from the flue
  • Make sure the door is open
  • Ensure it isn't too dark - flue exit visible
  • Clear view with nothing in the way

5). Your gas meter

  • Stand about a metre or so away from the gas meter - everything in shot
  • Consider lighting - is it clearly visible?
  • Ensure there's a clear view with nothing in the way

Alternatively, you can send your photos over to [email protected] with the same images attached - along with your order confirmation number and postcode. 

It’s important you send your photos by 3pm on the day before your installation day. Without them we might not be able to complete your installation. And if that happens, you could be charged. If you’re having any problems, our engineers on our Live Chat are more than happy to help.
