Have a boiler, heating cover or radiator question that needs answering? We're here to help.
Replace. A repair can sometimes be as expensive as a brand new boiler. And you could easily have more problems with a repaired boiler further down the line.
A boiler replacement is usually more efficient and more reliable.
Your new boiler will be covered by warranty too – so if it breaks, the manufacturer will repair it with no extra charge.
We can provide a brand new A-rated boiler from £1,745, or from £12.17 a month, including VAT and Gas Safe installation.
The costs for:
would traditionally set you back between £2,500 and £4,000.
BOXT can offer you exactly the same A-rated boiler, flue, attachments and Gas Safe registered installation from £1,795, or from £11.61 a month, including VAT.
Yes. All of our installers are professional, experienced central heating engineers with Gas Safe certification.
Not from BOXT, but you will as part of your manufacturer's warranty. Every new BOXT boiler comes with a manufacturer's warranty of up to 10 years.
You don't need to do anything to activate your warranty – we'll register your boiler with the manufacturer as part of our installation service.
Our manufacturer warranties are:
For covering your wider heating system, you can take out a home cover plan, which will be available after you purchase your boiler.
No. Our engineers will make sure that surfaces are protected and the area they're working on is always clean and tidy.
Yes, we'll need a little help from you to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day.
Before your installer arrives, clear away any clutter around the boiler – especially valuables and things that break easily – and make sure the boiler is easy to access.
Unless you are told differently by us, the boiler will normally be delivered between 7.30am and 9.30am on the morning of the boiler installation.
Yes - during every BOXT boiler installation, the engineer will complete a chemical flush of the full system as standard. They will use a chemical cleaning solution to break down built-up sludge, then add fresh water back into the system, which uses natural flow pressure to flush out the debris.
We also offer an upgrade to a MagnaCleanse system flush, which provides a faster and more effective system cleaning by using multiple components to remove magnetite, rust, and other build-ups in the system.
No. After years of experience, we've found that using a Powerflush machine on an older system simply causes more problems.
Instead, we carry out a Chemical Flush – which is a highly effective way to keep your system protected, approved by our manufacturer partners.

Get your fixed priceAn annual boiler service is needed to keep your boiler warranty valid. If something goes wrong, it's good to know that you're covered by the manufacturer and that you can get an engineer out to fix the problem as soon as possible, without leaving you out of pocket.
A yearly service by a Gas Safe Registered engineer also helps to keep boiler problems to a minimum. If you don't, there is more chance of something going wrong or your system performing inefficiently, potentially resulting in higher energy bills or expensive repairs.
No you don't. Every BOXT installation comes with a 1 year workmanship guarantee and a Gas Safety certificate. You also get up to 10 year's boiler parts and labour manufacturer-backed warranty, which we'll automatically register for you.
However, it's important that you get your boiler serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer - otherwise your manufacturer warranty will not be valid. So even if you don't take out a cover plan with us, remember you'll still need an annual service to protect your warranty.
If you have a home cover plan with BOXT, we will contact you when your annual boiler service is due so there is no need to get in touch before. This will be near the anniversary of your installation.
When you receive an invite to book your service you will be able to do so using our online calendar. One of our Gas Safe registered engineers will then complete the service on your chosen date.

We will always try our best to fix your boiler. In the rare occasion that your boiler is under 7 years old and deemed beyond economical repair, we will cover the cost of replacing it up to a maximum value of £2,500. If your boiler is over seven years old, we will be able to offer you a discounted fixed price replacement boiler.
On BOXT Home Cover plans there is a 14 day cooling off period. If you wish to cancel within the cooling off period, you will receive a full refund of any payments made in relation to the policy. If you decide to cancel after this period, you will need to pay the remaining balance due on your initial 12 month contract.

We know nobody likes having other people unnecessarily in their home so we request a few photos to inspect your system remotely. These photos are required before you can report an issue so it's advised to send them in as soon as possible to avoid disruption.
There is no limit on the value of a repair on any of our plans, providing your boiler or system isn't deemed beyond economical repair. If your plan does not cover the required repair you will be expected to cover any associated costs up-front should you wish for BOXT to undertake the work.

Yes we can. If you want to install the radiator in a new location, rather than replacing, then we charge from £150 per radiator. To arrange this or for more information, please call us on: 0800 193 7777. If you'd like to replace an existing radiator you can add this to your order on our website when selecting your boiler.
You receive a brand new radiator, plus new valves including a Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV). The fixed price also includes labour (fitting the radiator) and VAT.
After you've ordered we'll ask you to send photos of the radiators that need replacing, but you should also tell your installer on the day.
It's fine if you select a smaller radiator. Our installers will be able to fit this by using 'spacers'. This means that we'll use extra piping from the existing valve to meet the radiator. You'll see a 'bend' where this joins the radiator.
Our engineers will take as much care as possible to stop any sludge going on carpets or flooring.
Select the nearest width to the one you currently have and, to minimise disruption, if we don't have exactly the same width pick a slightly smaller size than your existing radiator.
No, you can only buy radiators from us at the same time as buying your new boiler.
Not necessarily. A higher power output (measured in kW) means that the boiler will have the capacity to allow you to add more radiators and operate them all at maximum output - and heat your water faster too. We recommend you replace you boiler with one of a similar power output to the existing one. Our technical team will be happy to advise you on live chat or by calling 0800 193 7777.
No, your boiler warranty will still be valid if you have had you boiler serviced every year.
Yes we can. We charge £150 per radiator to replace it in the same location. If you want to install the radiator in a new location - then we charge from £300 per radiator. Please call us to arrange this on 0800 193 7777.
We provide a new TRV and lockshield with every new radiator supplied and installed as part of our fixed price.
Providing the radiators are similar in width this shouldn't be a problem. We may need to slightly alter the pipework between the floor and the radiator, but this work is included in your fixed price.
Yes, that will be fine. Once you get to the payment screen, you can spread the cost of the boiler and replacement radiator(s) over 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 years, with any amount of deposit from 0 - 50%. Our 1 and 2 year plans are interest-free (0% APR) and the other plans have an APR of 11.9% - all are subject to status.
In most cases yes. Some of the less common sizes of radiators (300mm height, or over 2000mm length) may not be able to be delivered the next day, so if you order these, we advise you to choose a later day. If any of your radiators are not likely to be delivered for your selected installation day, one of our team will get in touch ASAP after you checkout. It may be we can offer an alternative radiator size or replace the radiator another day, after your boiler installation.
