BOXT x LUFC – Yorkshire Derby Prize Draw – 2024/2025
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter
1.1. This promotion is operated by Leeds United Football Club Limited (company number 06233875) of Elland Road Stadium, Elland Road, Leeds, LS11 0ES ("LUFC" or the "Promoter").
1.2. The promotion is operated by the Promoter in conjunction with BOXT Limited (company number 08086606) of 3320 Century Way, Thorpe Park, Colton, Leeds, LS15 8ZB ("BOXT").
2. Prize Draw
2.1. The title of the prize draw is: "LUFC x BOXT – Yorkshire Derby Prize Draw – 2024/2025”.
2.2. During the Prize Draw Period (detailed below) the Promoter will be giving entrants the opportunity to fill out a TypeForm document (the “Entry Form").
2.3. Those completing the Entry Form will then be given the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw gaining the chance to win a Prize.
3. How to enter
3.1. The prize draw will run from 26th September 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 12th October 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive (the "Prize Draw Period").
3.2. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
3.3. By completing the Entry Form, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Eligibility
4.1. The Prize Draw is only open to residents in England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 years or over, except: (i) employees of the Promoter or BOXT or either of their respective holding or subsidiary companies; (ii) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or BOXT or their respective holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration; or (iii) members of the immediate families or households of (i) and (ii) above.
4.2. In entering a Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any Prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw, such as proof of identity and age.
4.3. The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries that are: (i) automatically generated by computer; (ii) completed by third parties or in bulk; or (iii) incomplete.
4.4. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.5. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
4.6. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for prize draw entries that are lost or delayed in transit regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
4.7. The Promoter will not accept entries which fail to meet the requirements under section 4 above.
5. The Prize
5.1. One winner will be selected for the Prize Draw.
5.2. The details of the Prize will be explicitly stated and made clear to you prior to your participation in the competition.
5.3. By entering, you acknowledge that you have been informed of and agree to the specific Prize offered for that particular draw.
5.4. The Prize includes delivery within the mainland UK, but any other costs incurred in addition to delivery within the UK that are incidental to the fulfillment of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner.
5.5. The Promoter will only cover the direct expenses related to the Prize. Any additional costs, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, meals, and other incidental expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
5.6. There is no cash alternative for the Prize.
5.7. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize or any part of the Prize with an item or items of equal or greater value.
5.8. The Prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6. Selecting and Announcing Winner
6.1. Entrants who follow the steps listed at section 3 above, will be entered into a Prize Draw for the Prize. The winners will then be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process. The draw will be carried out shortly thereafter the winner will be announced as soon as possible thereafter (the "Announcement Date").
6.2. The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable after the Prize Draw is carried out using the email address given with their prize draw entry. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is not available, or has not claimed their Prize and provided all information reasonably required by the Promoter within 48 hours of first being contacted by the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner, in accordance with the process outlined above.
6.3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter may publish the forename and county of the Prize winner on its website and/or will send the forename and county of the Prize winner to anyone who contacts it within one (1) month after the Closing Date of this promotion.
6.4. If you object to any or all of your forename and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
7. Delivery of the Prize
7.1. Please allow at least ninety (90) days following the announcement of the winner for each Prize Draw for delivery of the Prize.
7.2. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize or to accept delivery of it.
7.3. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for anything that happens to the Prizes after they have been delivered and it is the responsibility of the winner to ensure there is a safe space for delivery.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and BOXT, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter (or BOXT), their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Data Protection and Publicity
9.1. By participating in the Prize Draw, Participants consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of their personal data as described in these Terms and Conditions.
9.2. Data provided via Typeform will be transferred to BOXT for the administration of the Prize Draw.
9.3. If you enter the Prize Draw you will need to provide your name and email address and if you are selected as a winner, you will be asked to provide personal data including your contact details and a UK delivery address for the Prize. Proof of ID may also be requested.
9.4. BOXT will use and process your personal information for the purposes of operating and administering the prize draw as detailed in these terms and conditions, including (if you are selected as a winner) for the purposes of announcing the winner and arranging delivery of the Prize.
9.5. BOXT may also use your personal information for marketing purposes, but only if you consented to this when you submitted your entry.
9.6. BOXT may share your personal data with each other for the purposes described above. The Promoter and BOXT may also share the personal data with their respective agents, suppliers and any other third parties involved in running the prize draw, as well with the Promoter's/ BOXT's delivery company. However, the Promoter/ BOXT will take steps to ensure that such third parties only use the personal data for the purposes described in this section.

10. General
10.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.
10.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend any or all of the Prize Draws, or to amend these terms and conditions, where (in the reasonable discretion of the Promoter) it considers it necessary to do so.
10.3. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
